With the Gulou area feeling smaller and smaller lately due to a squeeze on venues and street based community events becoming sparser, we are proud to announce that Fangjia hutong will still be hosting its Christmas market and, this time, the event will be even bigger than last year. There will be 6 venues involved, cocktail craft specialists Fang bar, Fangjia cornerstone El Nido, new Italian concept kitchen Cartoccio, local pizza favourites, Ramo, new hip spot, Mimi e Coco, and resident livehouse, Hot Cat.
今年因为各种原因，鼓楼这一片儿感觉变得越来越小，附近的社区活动和大型活动越来越少。所以我们想荣幸的向大家宣布一下，我们今年的方家胡同圣诞市集又一次会举行，并今年会比去年更加丰富多彩。坐落在方家胡同的六家酒吧和餐厅 - Cartoccio, El Nido, Fang, Mimi e Coco, Ramo and Hot Cat Club - 会联合给大家带来一个超过30家制作手工艺品和食物商户的市集
This year’s market will have something for everyone, old and young alike, whether it be packing out your Christmas stocking or getting festively drunk in typical holiday fashion.
In total there will be 30+ stalls offering food, crafts, artwork, cosmetics, Christmas gifts and more. Rager Pie will warm up your day with some hot sweet and savory deliciousness, Shangrila Farms, Miss Muesli and Jenni’s Oven will be in charge of sweet treats with Habesha organic Ethiopian coffee to wash it all down. Once you’re full, you can shop for Italian artist, Cosmosaurus, Christmas card selection, hand-made jewelry from metal-smith, Hanna Kay, herbal organic cosmetics by Velveteen Secret Potions, cosmetics and desserts by Open Siberia and Natural cosmetics, silk scarves, home accessories, vintage clothes, pottery and organic dog food.
本次市集真的会让每个人都能玩儿过瘾。不管你年龄大小，无论你想采购圣诞礼物还是以喝几杯的方式庆祝这个节日，在这儿都能找到！为活动提供各种美食，手工拼，生日礼物等等有意思的摊子包括：Rager Pie暖心的甜点和口感，香格里拉农场，燕麦小姐，和 Jennie’s Oven 美味的甜品，以及 Habesha 有机埃塞俄比亚咖啡。吃饱了之后，可以去意大利艺术家 Cosmosaurus’ 那儿选几个圣诞贺卡，然后去挑选设计师 Hanna Kay 的手工精制饰品。除此之外还有 Velveteen Secret Potions带来的有机药妆，Open_Siberia自制的化妆品和甜点，丝绸围巾，家具饰品，复古服饰，陶器，和有机狗粮。
Arts and culture team Loreli will be curating the gorgeous space at Mimi e Coco with an exhibition of painters and illustrators Li Zhao, Anthony Ragucci, Rui Ruijun and Angelina Merkulova and photography from Ross Harris and Ryan Monfared. You will be able to purchase prints of the artwork and your very own Loreli keepsake. Also available for sale will be the catalogue of epic local record label, Genjing Records with Nevin Domer on hand for recommendations and anecdotes.

The market is free to attend but advance tickets are available for 120RMB which include food, drink, and other items valued at 200RMB to be collected across the six locations: Fang Bar will offer a warm winter hot cocktail shot, El Nido will provide a Christmas-themed beer, Cartoccio will cook up a portion of their house specialty arancini, Ramo will serve up a hot slice of their finest pizza, Mimi e Coco will offer one of their signature bottled cocktails or homemade soda mixes and Hot Cat Club will warm your hands up with a glass of buttered rum. Finally, the ticket will include a 20RMB voucher, which can be used on a purchase with any seller at the market.
